Duchess Camilla (74) wanted Duchess Kate (40) to shoot a cover photo for her Country Life edition as a guest editor. The 74-year-old wife of Prince Charles (73) worked on the monthly edition of the garden magazine and was therefore asked to be on the cover of the magazine. And as soon as she received the request, Camilla apparently knew immediately who should take the picture for the front page.
Duchess Camilla on the cover of Country Life
The photo shows Duchess Camilla in the garden of her private Raymill estate in Lacock, Wiltshire. Sitting on a bench, she wears a blue and white floral dress and a cardigan, holding a basket full of flowers. After her husband Prince Charles was a guest editor for Country Life twice, Editor-in-Chief Mark Hedges asked Duchess Camilla to contribute as well.
What is particularly exciting for Camilla, is that the issue she was a guest-editor on is the 125th issue of the magazine!

She also noted: "In celebration of The Duchess of Cornwall’s upcoming 75th birthday and the magazine’s 125th anniversary, Her Royal Highness has guest edited a special commemorative edition of @CountryLifeMagazine, to be published on Wednesday 13th July."
