Duchess Kate (40) and Prince William (40) attended another emotional event. On Saturday, November 12, 2022, the "Festival of Remembrance" took place, honoring fallen soldiers and civilians during wartime in England.

Members of the royal family gathered at the Royal Albert Hall to commemorate the fallen. Duchess Kate and Prince William fight back tears as video clips of the Queen during her lifetime are shown. King Charles (74) was also very touched and was close to tears. He always fights back tears during performances. 

Duchess Kate honors Queen

Duchess Kate honored the Queen with a special piece of jewelry. She wore the pearl necklace she inherited from the late Queen. The Duchess also wpre this piece while she attended Elizabeth's funeral.

Remembrance Day was one of the most important events for the Queen. In addition to being Patron of the Royal British Legion, she was also the longest-serving Commander-in-Chief of the British Armed Forces. The service was thus, among other things, a homage to the Queen and her support during her lifetime. Charles attended as King for the first time this year. Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41) were not present.
