Prince William (42) and Princess Kate (42) have released their Christmas card this year, showing the family in Norfolk. The picture, which has already been seen in an earlier video of Kate, features Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6).

Christmas card from William and Kate published

William and Kate shared their Christmas card on social media on December 19 after it was announced that the family would not attend the traditional pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace. Instead, they are spending the holidays at their country estate Anmer Hall, and, as usual, plan to celebrate Christmas with the royal family at Sandringham.

The special thing about the picture is that it shows William and Kate with their children in Norfolk. It comes from the video in which Kate explained that her chemotherapy was over—a very special moment.

Kate's return after cancer and chemotherapy

The year 2024 was characterized by health challenges for the royal family. Both Kate and King Charles III (76) are battling cancer. Despite the difficulties, Kate has been making more public appearances again, most recently at an event in Westminster Abbey.

Royal Christmas traditions and absence

William and Kate skipped the traditional pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace to focus on preparations in Norfolk. The royal family will celebrate Christmas at Sandringham with 45 family members. The royals' absence from the palace dinner was planned and will allow them to spend the festive season in familiar surroundings.
