After the couple released their docu-series on Netflix, many more joined in on the criticism. Bethenny Frankel from ‘the Real Housewives of New York’ said she “found it a little boring,” adding that it seemed like “a smash and grab job for money.”

Howard Stern expressed his empathy for Harry on losing his mother, but then explained he disliked their “whining.

Sharon Osbourne agreed with Stern, saying: “I was totally bored by the whining, the whining, the whining.” She then called the Netflix project “trash”, and suggested the couple “move on”. “Everything has been abused by the public, by the press, by the royal family. Well, do you know what? You have a great life, you have a beautiful family, and you are so much in love. Move on. Get a life and move on.”

Kathy Griffin wrote on Instagram: “They met on freaking Instagram. Prince Harry was just flipping through Instagram, looking for a hot brunette like every other guy in L.A.” Griffin claimed she was questioning the pair’s recent actions. “I’m disappointed. I thought this was going to be a great love story. … Prince Harry’s like Armie freaking Hammer. What if Prince Harry’s the new House of Hammer?”

Meghan McCain wrote a column in the ‘Daily Mail’ to show her discontent with their Netflix series: “After the infamous Oprah interview and Volume I, everyone was expecting some bombshells. But it was all duds. Instead, we are shown them crying during emotional hypnotherapy sessions — whatever that is. Not to mention what they put their family through. How trashy to shame your own flesh and blood and for what? It was all smoke and no fire.”

Megyn Kelly, the former Fox News anchor, called the documentary a “farce”, Harry and Meghan “boring, uninspiring” and an “interminable waste of time,” according to ‘The New York Post.’ She also wrote on Twitter: “As he prances around the $14m, 9-bdrm mansion in Montecito w/massive gardens, white lighted-cocktail parties & mountain views from his 7-acre yard, Harry laments how all he ever wanted was this 'normal life!' These are the LEAST SELF-AWARE PEOPLE ON EARTH.”

Even a renowned comedy star has made fun of the couple. In his Netflix show, Chris Rock made a joke about Meghan Markle’s comments on the royal family. “It’s the Royal Family. You didn’t Google these [people]? What the [heck] is she talking about, ‘She didn’t know?' That’s like marrying into the Budweiser family and going, ‘They drink a lot.’”
