In order to avoid this, they have both kept a low profile in general, changing their schedule to not interfere with that of the King.
Originally, the pair had planned to visit France six months earlier but could not given that there were riots and protests.
Even after rescheduling, William and Kate’s plans remained in a fashion that did not clash with the King’s visit.
