- Interview with Duchess Meghan
- She talks about family life in Montecito
- What about her and Harry?
Duchess Meghan (43) has given a rare interview to 'People'. In it, she talks about her new projects, as well as her family and her marriage to Prince Harry. She explains how her husband is thrilled to see her back in her entrepreneurial role.
"My husband met me when I had The Tig. And I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me," she says. This return to creativity reminds the couple of happiness where Meghan throws herself full of energy into her projects.
Duchess Meghan's return to her beginnings
The Tig was Duchess Meghan's lifestyle blog, which she had to give up along with her social media accounts when she married Prince Harry.
Now she is returning to her roots, her lifestyle brand and her new Instagram account show her in her creative role again. "It’s almost like a honeymoon period again," she adds, "because it’s exactly how it was in the beginning when he’d watch me scribbling away, writing newsletters, fine-tuning edits and just really being in the details of it."
These words come after several rumors that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's marriage was on the verge of ending. The former actress thus proves that the Sussex family will continue to stick together.
Family life in Montecito
Life in Montecito, California, offers Meghan and Harry a protective community. The family has settled in well there with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Meghan describes Montecito as a place where they can experience normalcy, despite their family's unique circumstances.
"Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is," she says. The couple go to restaurants, meet other parents for play dates, take part in sports classes and participate in life in the village as normal.
