Neil Young has a few ideas for fans missing his music on Spotify.
The 76-year-old musician is leading a boycott of Spotify, after it stood by Joe Rogan and his COVID-19 misinformation. Young pulled his music from the streamer, and he's doing everything he can to get fans off Spotify.
Neil Young's backup plan after leaving Spotify
Since the Spotify boycott began, Young has been busy on social media and his official website. He's instead directing fans to streamer Amazon Music.
In fact, Neil and Amazon are promising four months of free service for new users, and he says: "It's a great place to enjoy my entire catalog in the highest quality available."
Young is promoting not only Amazon but also Apple Music. On his official website, he actually posted a note on moving your Spotify playlist to Apple using the SongShift software.
So, the Canadian musician looks pretty devoted to his stance on Spotify and fighting misinformation. So far, fellow musician Joni Mitchell has followed Young's action.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan say they expressed "concerns" to Spotify on the topic, but they won't remove their podcast for now.
