Selena Gomez has just dropped a new song that's sure to make people want to dance! As Entertainment Tonight shares, Gomez released the Spanish-sung "Baila Conmigo" on Friday, along with a music video for the track.
Gomez's new song a lively track about dance and romance
Gomez teamed up with Spanish rapper Rauw Alejandro for her latest single "Baila Conmigo", which translates to "Dance With Me" in English. The song is a flirty and fun duet, and the music video released along with it captures the spirit of its lyrics well!
As Entertainment Tonight mentions, Gomez and Alejandro appear on television screens throughout the video, performing the song. While it plays in the background, two people are seen coming together at various locations, using dance as a way to connect and express the depth of their feelings for one another.
Gomez "couldn't be more excited" to sing in Spanish
Gomez's latest song "Baila Conmigo" comes just a few weeks after the singer released her first Spanish-language single, "De Una Vez"! Both songs are set to be featured on her upcoming EP Revelación, which will be released on March 12.
Earlier this month, Gomez talked about her decision to release music in Spanish, explaining what it means to her and sharing that it's helped her improve as a singer. "I am targeting my fan base. I'm targeting my heritage, and I couldn't be more excited," she told Apple Music.
It's also worth noting that Gomez isn't the only mainstream pop star to release Spanish music this month! Last week, Billie Eilish dropped her long-awaited collab with Rosalía, "Lo Vas A Olvidar," an emotional track that was featured in a special episode of Euphoria.
