Billie Eilish is back with new music, and it's an exciting collaboration fans have been anticipating for some time! On Thursday, the "Bad Guy" singer released her song with Rosalía— called "Lo Vas A Olvidar"— and the brand-new tune sees her singing in Spanish for the first time!
Eilish and Rosalía's song to feature in Euphoria episode
Eilish's song with Spanish pop star Rosalía marks the second new single she's released lately, following the 2020 release of her track "Therefore I Am". And as Entertainment Tonight mentions, the duo's song will be featured in an upcoming episode of the popular HBO series Euphoria!
The show has been releasing a series of special episodes that were filmed over quarantine, the first of which focuses on Zendaya's character "Rue". "Lo Vas A Olvidar" can be heard in the upcoming second episode, which drops on January 22 and centers on Hunter Schafer's character "Jules".
Rosalía first teased her collab with Eilish in 2019
Rosalía's collab with Eilish had been in the works for several years, first hinted at all the way back in March 2019. At that time, the Spanish pop star took to social media to share that the two had started recording something together! "Can’t wait to finish our song ? compartir contigo en el estudio o verte ayer actuar me inspira sooo much, love you B," the singer had tweeted.
And in November of 2019, she told Entertainment Tonight that she and Eilish "enjoyed making music together" and found they had "amazing chemistry" in the studio. Along with the release of "Lo Vas A Olvidar," Rosalía and Eilish also released an atmospheric music video for the song, which shows both singers performing the track in a darkened room.
