Chord Overstreet was born in Nashville to a musically gifted family. He was encouraged by his parents to pursue music at an early age and learned to play many instruments including the guitar, drums, and piano.

After graduating high school, Chord began to pursue a career in performing but had a rough start. He starred in minor roles on shows and in films like iCarly and the 2009 thriller The Hole. Finally, in 2009, he landed the role of "Sam Evans" and this would be his breakthrough role.

Chord landed the role of "Sam Evans" by blowing the directors away at his audition with the Commodore's song "Easy" and Gavin DeGraw's "I Don't Want to Be". Chord played "Sam Evans", an athlete and transfer student with an amazing voice in 5 seasons of the show for a total of 91 episodes!
His most memorable solo from the show was Travie McCoy's "Billionaire", which ended up being released as a single and rose high on multiple charts around the world!
Chord Overstreet Today
After Glee ended in 2015, Chord began a recording contract with Safehouse Records, the same label that Demi Lavato and Nick Jonas founded, and became the first artist to sign to the label. He even opened for Nick and Demi on their Future Now Tour in 2016.
The now 33-year-old released his first single in 2016 titled "Homeland" and one of his biggest hits has been "Hold On", released after the death of one of his closest friends. His most recent songs include "All Nighter" and "My Ex". Keep up with the singer on his social media accounts!
