Ferne McCann spoke to Mirror Online recently and openly revealed that she's ready to find 'The One' to settle down with. The former TOWIE star's daughter Sunday just turned two and Ferne says she wants to be married again and have more children. Her ex-boyfriend and Sunday's father Arthur Collins is currently serving a jail sentence after being involved in an acid attack a nightclub.
TOWIE star Ferne McCann: "There can be tough times"
In the interview, Ferne opened up about her life as a single parent: "Being a single parent, there can be tough times. Lots of people ask what the toughest thing is about being a single parent but I think the clue's in the title, it's being on your own."
The 29-year-old is ready for a new chapter in her love life and also talked about what that means for her and Sunday: "I want to meet someone for me initially, of course I have to have Sunday in mind and we come as a package at the end of the day - a lovely package. But I feel like I'm not going to go out of my way to look for someone for her. I want to meet someone for me and if it's the right person, it's the right person, but I'm wary."
Ferne McCann: "I fancy someone"
It turns out that Ferne has actually met someone that she likes but - obviously - there's nothing official yet.
"It's early days, I fancy someone but we'll see. I don't want to scare him off, but basically I want a diamond cut yellow canary diamond."
The former star of TOWIE is clearly looking towards the future and is in a good place overall. "I feel so happy right now, I've got an amazing group of friends around me, an amazing family, an amazing daughter, and I'm very happy so for me to meet someone it would be the cherry on top, it would be a nice addition but it's not the be all and end all."
