After he was being recognized more and more on screen for his commercial work, he had his first film role in the movie The Mambo Kings in 1992. From then on, he starred in big hits like Minority Report (1992), The Grey (2012) with Liam Neeson, and Homefront (2013) alongside Jason Statham.
Aside from film, he also starred in major TV series like For the People, Shield, Prison Break and Kingdom.
In 2014, Frank starred in two blockbusters: The Purge: Anarchy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Two years later, he starred in both of their sequels, too! The Purge: Election Year and Captain America: Civil War were yet again both successful at the box office.

Today, the handsome actor is working on MANY films! Grillo currently has five different films in post-production: The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, Boss Level, Once Upon a Time in Staten Island, Body Brokers, and No Man's Land. He also recently announced that he'll be starring alongside Mel Gibson in the movie Leo from Toledo, which is currently in development!
The actor was previously married to his first wife Kathy from 1991-1998, and the two have a son, Remy. As of 2000, Guiding Light actress Wendy Moniz and Frank have been married, but recently separated in February 2020. The couple also have two children together, Liam and Rio.
