With a platinum album and several awards, Summer Walker is undoubtedly a star to watch! This is what you need to know about the singer's life and career!

Summer Marjani Walker was born on April 11, 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia. She used YouTube tutorials to teach herself guitar, while working as a stripper to help make ends meet. Walker was also a house cleaner and made an Instagram page to promote her business.

After Walker was discovered by record label LVRN, she released the mixtape Last Day of Summer in 2018. Its release put her on the radar, and even led to a remix of her song "Girls Need Love" with Canadian rapper Drake! In October 2019, Walker dropped her debut album Over It.
