Sam Asghari is more than happy to let Britney Spears make the decisions when it comes to their future wedding plans! On Thursday, Asghari attended the Los Angeles premiere of House of Gucci, where he chatted with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet about how he and his fiancée are doing.
Asghari says that Spears "is wearing the pants now"
Asghari reflected on how he and Spears are feeling now that the the pop star has been released from her years-long conservatorship. He told Entertainment Tonight's Lauren Zima that they are "doing great, calling the present moment "the happiest time of our lives." And since the two became engaged a couple months ago, he also talked about getting married in the near future!
While the Los Angeles-based personal trainer didn't say when he and Spears plan to wed, he told the outlet that it will happen "sooner or later." And instead of taking charge of the plans for their big day, he's giving his fiancée the freedom to choose what it will look like! "It's up to her," he said. "She's wearing the pants now!" Spears recently shared on social media that she celebrated her newfound freedom with a glass of champagne.
Asghari has been in a relationship with Spears since 2016. Ahead of the life-changing court hearing last week, he showed support for her by taking to Instagram to share a video of the couple wearing #FreeBritney t-shirts. And while Asghari mentioned wanting "the biggest wedding in the world," it looks like we'll have to see if Spears wants the same thing, or if she'd rather have an intimate ceremony!
