Pierce Brosnan sadly lost his daughter Charlotte Brosnan to ovarian cancer on June 28, 2013. Charlotte, a mother of two, was just 41 years old when she died.
On Monday, the 67-year-old Irish actor took to social media to note the seventh anniversary of her passing.
"Here's looking at you kid... in remembrance of Charlotte," Brosnan wrote, quoting the affectionate line from Casablanca.
His tribute post also read, "happy birthday wishes for my darling Marley May," who is Brosnan's 5-year-old granddaughter through his son, Sean Brosnan, according to People.

Brosnan's wife, Keely Shaye Smith, received photo credits on the post, which shows the "James Bond" actor relaxing on the porch of his Hawaii home.

Brosnan married Smith in 2001, 10 years after his first wife Cassandra Harris tragically succumbed to ovarian cancer, just as her daughter Charlotte later did in 2013.

In 2019, Brosnan spoke about the importance of Smith's strength and support for his mourning of Cassandra and Charlotte. The married couple of nearly two decades also share two sons together, Dylan and Paris.
