Pauley Perrette (now 51) was part of the main cast of NCIS for 15 years and she starred as forensic scientist "Abigail 'Abby' Sciuto" in 352 episodes of the popular CBS drama. Her character had a special relationship with "Gibbs" (played by veteran actor Mark Harmon) and her exit was one of the saddest NCIS exits for fans of the show.
Pauley Perrette was "terrified" of Mark Harmon
But while they were friendly on-screen, Perrette and Harmon apparently did not get along behind the scenes. In June 2019, Perrette claimed in a number of Tweets that she left NCIS after an on-set dog-bite and multiple physical assaults. She added that she was "terrified of Harmon" and would never return to the show, ever.
While she was still on NCIS, she was part of the LGBT docudrama miniseries When We Rise and played the role of "Robin". After her exit from NCIS, Perrette did not start a new job right away, which is understandable after 15 years on a network show.

But now, "Abby" is back on TV and this time with a sitcom! Her new show Broke, which premieres on April 2 on CBS, has her playing a confident, working single mom, whose estranged brother and his wife move in with her after being cut off by their wealthy father.
In the pictures she regularly shares on her Twitter account, former NCIS star Perrette looks happy and healthy, and we can't wait for her new show to premiere!
