Born on April 23rd, 1960, Valerie Bertinelli started her acting career at the age of 15 on the sitcom One Day at a Time. From 1975 to 1984, she appeared on 208 of 209 episodes! After the ending of the iconic show, she would star in other various sitcoms, such as Sydney and Café Americain.

Valerie also starred many in made-for-TV films from the '70s up until 2008! One of her more recent television roles was in the sitcom, Hot in Cleveland, which earned her Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
As of 2015, Bertinelli has been active on the Food Network channel, where she started hosting Valerie's Home Cooking and Kids Baking Championship... both are still on the air today!
Additionally, she's been a judge on the competition shows Food Network Star and Iron Chef America. She also hosts both Family Food Showdown and Family Restaurant Rivals!
