Rico was born July 31st, 1998 in Bryan Texas to the humble Mexican American Rodriguez family. Rico began looking into acting when his older sister Raomo Rodriguez started acting. He had a few smaller roles in films and shows like Epic Movie, Corey in the House, ER, iCarly, NCIS, and as a frequent prankster on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Then at only 9 years old, he landed his breakthrough role as "Manny Delgado" in Modern Family. The hit hilarious show won countless awards like the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Rico himself won Male Breakout Star Teen Choice Award and the ALMA Award for Favorite TV Actor.

In 2012 Rico even became a published author with his novel Reel Life Lessons... So Far where he gives a behind-the-scenes peek at what it was like to be on the show and what he learned from his experiences. He has been featured in tons of other shows like Good Luck Charlie, Mad, The Lion Guard, and El Americano.
Rico has a beautiful relationship with all of his Modern Family castmates and continues to support them publicly in every venture they are a part of. He is also a proud NBA and WNBA supporter, often seen at Astro's games.
