Celebrating Marvel's Stan Lee will air on ABC right before Christmas and will be hosted by Clark Gregg. The hour-long show is set to be partially filmed in front of a live studio audience at the New Amsterdam Theater in New York City. It will feature archival interviews and never-before-seen footage of Lee throughout the years.

Various celebrities, such as Tom Hiddleston, Mark Hamill, Jimmy Kimmel and Kevin Feige, will also make an appearance and "share their memories of Lee". According to Joe Quesada, Creative Director of Marvel Entertainment, the special is for "True Believers" to celebrate Lee’s "incredible life".

"Stan showed each of us how to be a hero in our everyday lives, and the stories he wrote will go on to influence generations of fans for decades to come. We can't wait for all you True Believers out there to see this special to honor and celebrate Stan's incredible life and all the lives he has touched", Quesada said in a statement.
Celebrating Marvel’s Stan Lee will air on ABC at 8 p.m. (9 central) on December 20 2019.
