Dan Abrams is the host of hit TV Show, Live PD which follows police officers across the country while they are out on patrol. Abrams coordinates the many officers followed and offers legal insight and witty commentary to the wild interactions the officers have with criminals.

Before his time leading Live PD he worked as a reporter for Court TV, even covering the infamous OJ Simpson Case. He went on to become Chief Legal Correspondent for NBC News and the Chief of Legal Affairs for ABC News and an Anchor for Nightline.

Dan brings a lot to the table in whatever he is a part of, he has a B.A. in political science from Duke University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. He has written 4 books and has had articles published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post and USA Today.

His book Man Down: Proof Beyond a Reasonable Doubt That Women Are Better Cops, Drivers, Gamblers, Spies, World Leaders, Beer Tasters, Hedge Fund Managers and Just About Everything Else made it to #10 on the Washington Post Best Seller List and he has just released his latest book John Adams Under Fire.
Dan is reportedly in a relationship with publicist Florinka Pesenti. The 54-year-old also has a son named Everett Floyd Abrams.
