Kristen Anne Bell was born July 18, 1980 in Detroit, Michigan. Growing up Kristen would go by her middle name until high school, deciding at the age of four that she did not like her first name. It would be during high school that Kristen would really develop her passion for acting, taking part in numerous productions held by her high school's drama and music club. Later on, only a few credits away from graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Kristen would leave to take on Broadway!

'Veronica Mars'

After a number of successful Broadway productions, including The Crucible which also starred Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis, Kristen would make the move to Hollywood and, after a few smaller roles, would land the part of "Veronica Mars" at the age of 24! Playing a high school student and detective was the perfect role for Kristen, and she was able to draw on her own high school experience for the role.

After three amazing seasons, Veronica Mars would be cancelled to the dismay of fans-fans can now rejoice that a fourth season was released in 2019! Looking for a new role to take on, Kristen Bell expressed interest in working on NBC sci-fi drama series Heroes. The producers were more than happy to take the now established actress on, and, without even auditioning, Kristen was given the part of "Elle Bishop"! In addition to Heroes, Kristen would also take on the voice of the title character on Gossip Girl!
