- Perry reveals that she and Bloom both go to therapy
- The singer explains how this approach benefits them
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been a couple since 2016. They even have a daughter together, 1-year-old Daisy. The small family is unusually scandal-free by Hollywood standards— could it be because Bloom and Perry are going to couples therapy?
Perry says couples therapy has brought "a lot of success"
Perry recently explained this when she appeared on the podcast Life Will Be the Death of Me, which is hosted by Chelsea Handler. "Orlando and I do couples therapy, and we love it because it keeps us in tune, and the resentment can get really strong when you’re both working hard." she shared.
She went on to explain how it can be difficult for celebrities to navigate a partnership and the limelight. "And so when you want to come back to being normal in a domesticated world where you have a child and stuff like that, you have to really learn how to be kind of different out there in the big and in the small," the singer continues. "And so we’ve had a lot of success with that couples therapy."

The couple went even further and each spent a week in a therapy center. There they were able to get a glimpse into their innermost selves while apart from each other. Apparently, this approach was spot on for the Bloom-Perry couple. After all, the two are still as happy today as they were on the first day— it seems that we can learn a lot about successful relationships from Perry and Bloom!
