Katy Perry Learns Of Rumour She Might Be Cousins With Taylor Swift: "Well We Fight Like Cousins"

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have had an interesting relationship to say the least, and the pop sensation reacts to the rumour she and Swift are cousins!

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have had an ongoing feud that just recently seemed to have been put to rest. Now, the pregnant pop star is reacting to the strange rumour that she and Swift are actually cousins.

During Australia's Capital FM Radio show, the American Idol judge joked along with the rumour.

"Well, we fight like cousins," she said.

Could Swift and Perry really be cousins?

Perry wrote the whole thing off as a "fanfic," but the host shared with her that someone actually took the time to link the two, saying "someone has literally written, like, a full thing," pointing to a family tree linking the two as 9th cousins on MyHeritage.com.

"Wow, I’m going to have to ask her if this is true or if we should, like, get blood tests together or something," Perry said, referencing connecting with Swift.

Later in the interview, Perry was asked how she is managing everything, and she responded, "I’m still pregnant, it’s still a pandemic, it’s a political and racial revolution in America… and I’m still putting out a record, I think."

"I’m ready for this record to come out, I’m ready for this baby to come out, and for 2020 to be f--ing over!" Perry said.
