Many recognize Karan from his Disney Channel days and are blown away when they see the handsome young gentleman he's grown into! He also has taken the tragic loss of his best friend Cameron Boyce and turned it into something so beautiful and helpful that Cameron would be proud.
Karan Brar's Rise To Fame
Creative and charming Karan was born and raised near Seattle, Washington on January 18th, 1999 to a family of Indian descent. From a young age, he knew he was interested in acting and studied to hone his craft.
Karan landed his first role at only age 11! He played "Chirag Gupta" in the entire Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Having been born and raised in the US he had to practice with a dialect coach to create an Indian accent for the part.
His talent in an audition so impressed Disney Channel that they altered a character on Jessie to fit Brar. The character "Ravi" was originally intended to be a Hispanic boy named "Javier" but because they wanted to cast Brar, they altered the character just for him! It was during Jessie that he became best friends with his co-star Cameron Boyce.

Karan went on to star in a few more Disney productions before he was featured in Pacific Rim: Uprising, Champions, Schooled, and 3 Netflix productions in one year! He starred in The F**k-It List, The Argument, and Adam Sandler's Hubie Halloween.
She made her mark in just one episode!
Karan had been living with his folks in Los Angeles until 2019 when he moved in with his former co-stars and close friends Cameron Boyce and Sophie Reynolds. Tragically his best friend Cameron Boyce passed away in his sleep because of a sudden seizure due to his epilepsy.
Cameron was a well-known philanthropist and even raised thousands and thousands of dollars for causes such as bringing clean water to underdeveloped countries, ending homelessness, fighting against gun violence, helping children with sickle cell disease, and countless more. Because of this, his family and friends like Karan helped create The Cameron Boyce Foundation that continues to put strong efforts into the causes that meant so much to him.
Karan has been spreading the love behind The Cameron Boyce Foundation and doing his best to educate fans on what to do when someone has a seizure.
Karan has grown into a strikingly handsome young man. We can't wait to see what Karan does next because his talent and charm are sure to shine through!
