Jamie Lee Curtis has big news!
This week, the 62-year-old star revealed that one of her children has come out as transgender. And Curtis, who is married to actor-director Christopher Guest, shared the touching way that she and her husband feel about their daughter's news.
Jamie Lee Curtis shares daughter Ruby is transgender
Speaking to AARP Magazine, Curtis said that she and Guest "have watched in wonder and pride as our son became our daughter Ruby."
The magazine notes that Curtis has shed "old ideas" like the notion of gender being fixed, and that Ruby gave her mother permission to share her personal news.
And Curtis is clearly thrilled about her daughter embracing her true self, because she also told AARP that she will personally officiate Ruby's wedding to her fiancé next year.

Curtis and her husband Christopher Guest have been married since 1984, and they adopted their two children early in their nearly 40-year relationship. Daughter Annie was born in 1986 and Ruby (formerly Thomas) in 1996.
