Magician Roy Horn tested positive for COVID-19 in April
Already at the end of April, a press spokesman announced to the Las Vegas Review Journal that Roy had tested positive for the corona virus and was therefore one of the stars who have COVID-19. Fans all over the world were worried about the magician who was in a risk group at the age of 75. The magician was admitted into the hospital last week.
While other celebrities are in quarantine because of the coronavirus, Roy had been particularly badly affected. Even the doctors were unable to save him. His long-time colleague and friend Siegfried Fischbacher thanked the hospital team in a heartfelt message.
"Roy was a fighter his whole life including during these final days. I give my heartfelt appreciation to the team of doctors, nurses and staff at Mountain View Hospital who worked heroically against this insidious virus that ultimately took Roy's life. Today, the world has lost one of the greats of magic, but I have lost my best friend. From the moment we met, I knew Roy and I, together, would change the world. There could be no Siegfried without Roy, and no Roy without Siegfried," Fischbacher said.
