Ray Liotta, the Hollywood legend from Goodfellas and many more, has passed away. Deadline broke the tragic news that Liotta died in his sleep while shooting a film in the Dominican Republic. He was 67.
Goodfellas legend Ray Liotta is dead
Ray Liotta was born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1954. His acting career began in the 1970s and his breakout movie was Something Wild. Soon after, Liotta gave career-defining performances in the films Goodfellas and Field of Dreams.
Liotta collected over 100 credits in film and TV. Some of his other notable movies include Hannibal, Cop Land, Blow, and Killing Them Softly. On TV, he appeared on Our Family Honor, Shades of Blue and, recently, Hanna.
