Are Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder really married?
If you ask the actors, they truly believe so. They aren't a couple, but the frequent co-stars say a scene they filmed in the great 1992 film Bram Stoker's Dracula technically makes them husband and wife today.
Why Keanu Reeves says he married Winona Ryder
Ryder brought up the "marriage" in a 2018 interview, and the claim is in the news again after Reeves revisited the story in a new talk.
They say director Francis Ford Coppola enlisted a real Romanian priest for the Dracula wedding scene. So Reeves thinks they are "married under the eyes of God" because the ceremony was conducted in a legitimate manner.
