Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves is a Canadian actor, known for his participation in films such as Point Break or Speed as well as in successful franchises such as Matrix or John Wick. 

The Career of Keanu Reeves

Keanu Charles Reeves was born on September 2, 1964. Keanu made his acting debut in an episode of Hangin' In. In later years he did commercials, theater work, in addition to having participated in a few small TV roles. The 1986 film Youngblood became his first film appearance. After playing small roles, he had his first important role in the film River's Edge. In the late 80s, he appeared in films aimed at teenage audiences, and in the 90s he participated in films such as Point Break, My Own Private Idaho or Bram Stoker, Dracula. In 1994 his career took a leap when he starred in the film Speed, to later participate in films such as A Walk in the Clouds, or Feeling Minnesota. However, at the end of the '90s, international fame came for Keanu thanks to the movie The Matrix, which was a box office success and received positive reviews. In later years Keanu starred in sequels to that story, in addition to others such as Sweet November, Constantine or The Lake House.  As of 2014 Keanu starred in John Wick, of which he has starred in several more sequels. During his career, Keanu has also starred in films such as Street Kings, 47 Ronin, The Whole Truth, Siberia or Replicas. 

The Tragic Death of Keanu Reeves' Girlfriend and Daughter

Keanu Reeves had a past relationship with Jennifer Syme, whom he met in 1998. In 1999 Jennifer became pregnant, so both were expecting a daughter. However, tragedy struck their lives after eight months of gestation the baby girl was stillborn. The little girl was given the name Ava Archer Syme-Reeves and was buried in a Los Angeles cemetery. Sometime later, another tragic event came into Keanu's life. On April 1, 2001, Jennifer attended a party at the home of musician Marilyn Manson, and after being taken home, Jennifer decided to return to the party but Syme was involved in a car accident. Her car struck three other cars and flipped over and she tragically died as well. 

Keanu is currently in a relationship with American artist Alexandra Grant, with whom he was seen publicly in 2019 for the first time despite accumulating several years of relationship.
