Born July 16, 1979, American actress Jayma Mays would build up quite an impressive resume before joining the cast of Glee. With early appearances on shows including Joey, How I Met Your Mother, and Ugly Betty, and films like Red Eye and Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Jayma was on her way to success long before landing the part of "Emma Pillsbury".
In 2009, Jayma Mays would be cast as germaphobic guidance counselor "Emma Pillsbury" on hit musical series Glee. With a budding love interest with high school teacher "Mr. Schue", played by Matthew Morrison, "Emma" would become a fan favorite!

Fans will best remember her for her amazing solo performance of "Touch-a, Touch Me"! While Jayma would move to a guest role for the last three seasons of the show, she would continue to gather a large fan base!

While Glee may have ended in 2015, Jayma Mays has stayed busy! From 2017 to 2018, Jayma starred in NBC comedy Trial & Error, and in 2018, Jayma would also appear in an episode of Great News alongside her husband of 14 years, English actor Adam Campbell!
Jayma Mays would meet Adam in 2006 when they were both filming on the set of Epic Movie. Today, the couple have an almost 5-year-old son named Jude, whom they absolutely adore!
