Matthew Charles Czuchry was born on May 20, 1977, in Manchester, New Hampshire, and grew up in Tennessee. Matt graduated high school in 1995 and went to the College of Charleston to study for a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science.
Matt Czuchry's First Role
Czuchry took one theatre class in college and his professor encouraged him to switch his major to drama. He would land his first on-screen role on The WB's Young Americans. He then had many guest roles on shows like Freaks and Geeks, 7th Heaven, Veronica Mars, and Friday Night Lights.
Gilmore Girls: This Is "Logan" Today
Matt's breakthrough role was that of "Logan Huntzberger" in the fan-favourite series Gilmore Girls alongside Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham in 2004. He returned for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life in 2016, reprising his role of "Logan".
From 2009 to 2016, Matt starred as "Cary Agos" in the legal drama The Good Wife alongside Christine Baranski, Chris Noth and Julianna Margulies. Most recently, Matt starred in the Fox medical drama The Resident as "Dr. Conrad Hawkins". The show premiered in 2018 and wrapped up in 2023.
