At the start of the Instagram video, Gadot describes what motivated her to sing the song. "Hi, guys. Day six in self-quarantine. And I gotta say, these past few days got me feeling a bit philosophical," she says. "This virus has affected the entire world. Everyone. Doesn't matter who you are, where you're from. We're all in this together."
She also mentions a viral video of an Italian man playing "Imagine" by John Lennon on the trumpet. She then begins to sing the song, and is joined by many other famous faces across the three-minute video.
