Andrea Barber was thrust into the spotlight at a very young age. Born July 3, 1976, the actress would get her start at just six years old when she was cast into the role of "Carrie Brady" on popular soap opera Days of Our Lives.
Andrea would prove herself a talented child actress and would win a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Youth Actress two years in a row! After four years on Days of Our Lives, Andrea would leave the show and pursue her next big role as "Kimmy Gibbler" on hit series Full House.

Andrea Barber would flourish in her new role as "Kimmy Gibbler", best friend to Candace Cameron's "D.J. Tanner". While the role was originally only as a reoccurring guest star, audiences fell in love with "Kimmy Gibbler" so much that the character was upgraded to a full-time cast member.
Andrea Barber would play "Kimmy" for all eight seasons for a total of 146 episodes! By the time the show ended in 1995, Andrea was only 19-years-old, but after 13 years of acting decided to call it quits from acting and focus on her personal life.
