Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan hint at 'Freaky Friday' comeback
It's a blast from the past that's got us all excited! Jamie Lee Curtis (63) and Lindsay Lohan (36) are stirring up the nostalgia pot with a mini 'Freaky Friday' reunion. Curtis, the scream queen herself, took to Instagram with a snapshot that's got fans truly freaking out.
She's itching for another go at the body-swapping shenanigans as "Tess Coleman", and who can blame her? Jamie Lee Curtis' caption under the post is what has fans thinking there could be more to the story. "Too late. YOU GREW UP and SO BEAUTIFULLY!" she sys. "Well, it's Friday, and the strike is over, so hopefully, we can switch places again in the near future!"
Could there be a sequel to 'Freaky Friday'? Jamie Lee Curtis talked to 'EW' back in July, confirming that a follow-up to the 2003 Disney comedy hit is "for sure" in the works! And with the writers' and actors' strikes now finally over, it looks like the "Coleman" family might just be gearing up for another wild ride.
Also Interesting:
Curtis shared her dream for the sequel on 'The View'. "I would like to see Lindsay be the hot grandma, and I would like to see me try to deal with toddlers today," she said. "I wanna be a helicopter parent in today's world, as an old lady."
