Euphoria twins Tristan and Tyler were actually YouTube stars before they landed their roles as "Roy" and Troy" on the Emmy-Award winning series. The brothers have nearly 300k subscribers on their YouTube channel, called Trvp Twins! How did they get their start?
Tristan and Tyler Timmons were born on November 12, 2002, in Chicago, Illinois. However, the two ended up being raised in Atlanta, Georgia and are fraternal twins... despite looking identical!
Euphoria: Meet The Timmons Twins
Euphoria's twins bring the comedy part to the deep, drug and sex-themed show. Tristan and Tyler are similar in their YouTube channel, too! On their channel Trvp Twins, the pair share stories of life growing up as twins and even pull pranks on each other. In an interview with Naluda Magazine, Tristan and Tyler describe themselves as "twin brothers with smiles and dreams who represent positivity."
Tristan and Tyler are also models, musicians, and now actors! They had a small part in the film Black Panther, where they played the Oakland basketball kids at the end of the film. Tristan's also had another small credit in the film How High 2 and for the upcoming Tyson's Run.
From Model to actress!
Though Tristan and Tyler seemed to be most focused on their YouTube channel at the moment! In the series, the twins play "Roy" and "Troy", who are the brothers of "McKay" (Algee Smith). They seem to love their new career pathway, telling the same magazine:
"The best part about being an actor is the experience of working at different locations while meeting and bonding with new people."
They even got to meet Drake, who serves as one of the executive producers of the show!
Not a bad acting start for the Euphoria twins! We can't wait to see more of them on TV and in films!
