Elon Musk may have shown up to receive one of the most noteworthy awards, but he shared the stage with his little one! As Entertainment Tonight reports, Musk stepped out with his son X Æ A-Xii as he was honoured as Time's Person of the Year on Monday, and the unusually-named tot was the big star of the evening!
Musk's son shows off his personality on stage
Musk was recognized for his achievements with technology, as well as his leadership as the face of Tesla. During the event, he touched on his future goals for SpaceX, saying that "a self-sustaining city on Mars" would be the next big step in innovation. He also commented on wanting Tesla to "serve as an example to the car industry" so that other car manufacturers would adopt a greener approach.
Musk and singer Grimes welcomed X Æ A-Xii back in 2020, but have now split up. Their son is now almost 2 years old, and his accompanying Musk at the prestigious event marked his first public appearance! Wearing a long-sleeved shirt with trucks on it as well as jeans and sneakers, the world got a good look at little X for the first time.
It also seems like Musk's kid already has a big personality, seeing as he was responsible for some pretty entertaining moments! As the outlet shares, he covered his ears at one point, which Musk couldn't help but laugh out loud at. And later on during the evening's conversation, X even put a hand over his dad's microphone!
