Fans have been left heartbroken by the tragic news about Stephen "tWitch" Boss. On Dec. 13, the star was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to TMZ.
The dancer and DJ was probably best known as the long-time co-host of The Ellen Show. Ellen DeGeneres herself has now shared first words after the terrible news.
Ellen DeGeneres pays tribute to tWitch
"I'm heartbroken," DeGeneres wrote on Twitter. "tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him."
In her Twitter tribute, Ellen also asked fans to "send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children - Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia."

Stephen Boss rose to fame on So You Think You Can Dance. Over the years he also lent his talents to films like Step Up and Magic Mike, and hosted Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings.
Boss was only 40 years old. He will be missed.
