The When Harry Met Sally actress attended the Governor's Awards on the weekend and stepped out onto the red carpet without her engagement ring from rocker John Mellencamp. US Weekly reported that she actually ended their engagement the same day she was spotted without the ring.

Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp's relationship
The couple announced their engagement almost a year ago in November 2018 and Ryan was spotted wearing the ring on many occasions this past year. Meg and John first began dating in 2011 and called it quits in August 2014 due to long-distance with Meg and her daughter living in New York and John staying in his home state of Indiana.
Meg and John: A rocky relationship
In between this break-up, Mellencamp dated Christie Brinkley for a year yet their was still hope of reconciliation for Meg and John. In June 2017, the couple was spotted back out at an event together and their relationship was then confirmed.
They have been relatively private about their relationship for the past seven years and as of right now, neither representative for Meg Ryan or John Mellencamp have commented on their current relationship status.
