Dancing with the Stars' Witney Carson shared some major news on Thursday! As Entertainment Tonight reports, the professional dancer took to Instagram to announce that she and her husband, Carson McAllister, are expecting their first child.
Carson on pregnancy: "can't wait to start this beautiful chapter"
Carson's announcement post features a couple photos of her and her husband embracing, while she holds up a positive pregnancy test. "Baby McAllister coming Jan 2021!!!!!" she captioned it. "We can't even contain our excitement and joy right now."
"We found out together with @clearblue, which was so surreal and special!" the dancer went on to say. "Getting our results in words made this whole thing that much more real! We love this little bean so much already and we can’t wait to start this beautiful chapter in our lives!"
Carson had talked about feeling "baby hungry" last year
Carson opened up to Entertainment Tonight while at the Emmys last year about how she and her husband had started to want a baby. "I'm shocked I'm even saying this, but we're getting a little bit baby hungry, which is, like, crazy for me because I've never been baby hungry ever in my life," she admitted.
"All of a sudden just, like, this year, I've been so baby hungry. I'm feeling it. Every time I see a baby I'm just like, 'Ugh! You're so cute, I want one!' It might [shake up DWTS]," she said. "I don't know how good that will look, nine months pregnant trying to do the samba. I don't know if I could physically do it, but damn, I'll try."
Carson's pregnancy announcement isn't the only DWTS shakeup as of late! The show's longtime hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews have announced their exit, and it was revealed that Tyra Banks would be taking over the position. One thing's for sure— the ballroom is certainly going to look different next season!
