Courteney Cox is looking forward to reuniting with her Friends! During her appearance on Kevin Nealon's YouTube-streamed talk show Hiking With Kevin, Cox shared she couldn't be happier about the long-awaited Friends reunion finally happening. The unscripted HBO Max special will see Cox and her former Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer together on screen for the first time in about 16 years.

When Nealon asked Cox to describe what her ideal Friends reunion would look like, she revealed that it's something the cast actually did together not long ago! "The ideal for me — and we just actually recently did this, and it took forever. I don’t know how many years it was, maybe 15 years — and we finally all got together and had dinner," Cox said. "And when we get together, which is never — it only happened… it just doesn’t happen very often, like twice since we ended the show — it’s just the most fun. We laugh so hard.”

Cox says it'll be "fantastic" to reminisce about Friends in 2020

Cox's excitement for the Friends reunion largely stems from the fact that it will be the first time she and the rest of the cast will have an opportunity to reminisce about the show together! "So the exciting thing is that we’re all going to get together for the first time, in a room, and actually talk about the show, and it’s going to be on HBO Max, and I’m so excited,” Cox enthused.

"We’re going to have the best time,” she went on to say. “It’s going to be great. But we really haven’t all done that and actually sat there and talked about and reminisced about this incredible experience that we had. It’s gonna be fantastic.” According to an official statement from HBO Max, the Friends reunion will be filmed on the same soundstage as the series, Stage 24 of the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California, and is set to debut on the streaming service when it launches in May 2020!
