Britney Spears is taking advantage of the chance to share her story with the world! As Entertainment Tonight shares, Spears is said to be penning her own autobiography, with the rights for the project already acquired by a big publishing company.
Spears sells memoir to publisher for $15 million
Spears was under a years-long conservatorship since 2008, meaning that she didn't have the freedom to make her own decisions about her life. However, this arrangement finally came to an end in November 2021, which means she has the freedom to open up about her life over the years. Spears also has been legally granted the ability to make her own business decisions.
According to Page Six however, Simon & Schuster has ultimately landed the rights to Spears' memoir, which is said to be one of the priciest autobiography deals! While the singer has not confirmed the partnership, she reportedly sold it to the publishing house for an astonishing $15 million.

At the end of last year, sources suggested that Spears was looking at new business opportunities in 2022, so it seems as if her decision to publish a tell-all memoir is the first of these ventures. It will be exciting to see what Spears reveals in her book, and how her accounts of things differ from that of her sister Jamie Lynn, who she recently took legal action against over her memoir.
