In her latest interview with Vanity Fair, the 19-year-old singer is getting real about what it's been like being so young and earning so much praise and attention.

Eilish, who was only 16 when she wrote the LP tells the publication, "Parts of it were great and I love that album, but I was not in a great mental place."

Eilish then added that since then she has started therapy, and feels much more in control and in a better place.

She adds that the music she is creating now "feels exactly how I want it to", and adds, "There isn’t one song, or one part of one song, that I wish was this or that I wish it was that."

"In our creative life and minds we're just at an all-time good," she said of her and her brother Finneas.

Eilish then talked about how crazy her fans can seem, but that she's learned how to cope over time with the major attention.

"[It] makes you kind of crazy," she said of devoted fans. "We all know the feeling of seeing yourself and being like, ‘What is going on with me, I’m acting insane.'"

She continued, "When you’re excited about something, you forget boundaries and you forget what’s polite and what’s kind of not polite."

Eilish then revealed that she and her team brief those about to take part in a meet and greet on how to act when they meet the young star.

"It is definitely important to have the boundaries and also have people around you that can help in a situation like that," she said. "I never want to push away somebody that’s showing me only love. And even if it’s coming from a place of crazy love, I don’t ever want to push that too far away."
