A new video message from Betty White has been released.
The beloved actress passed away at age 99 back on Dec. 31. Recently, we saw one of White's last photos, and now a video that appears to come from the same day has surfaced on social media.
Betty White's final video message to fans
Here's the clip of Betty's message:
In the brief clip, Betty, looking cheerful and stylish, says: "I just want to thank you all for your love and support over the years. Thank you so much. And stick around."
Shared by NBC senior executive Mike Sington, the video is labelled: "Betty White's final appearance."
Before she died, a film about Betty's 100th birthday was in the works, so it's possible the video was an intro or part for the movie.
White would have turned 100 years old earlier this week on Jan. 17. That day, her assistant released a photo of Betty from the same setting as this new video.
It was said to have been taken on Dec. 20, 2021, which was a few days before White suffered a stroke on Christmas Day. She then passed away on Dec. 31.
White's 100th birthday was marked by a wave of fan donations to animal shelters.
Rest in peace, Betty.
