Ben Affleck is speaking out about the problems and regrets of his past. The successful actor and director was candid in a recent interview with The New York Times, which took place ahead of his upcoming film The Way Back.
In the interview, Affleck opened up about his divorce from actress Jennifer Garner. The couple was married in 2005 and shares three children together.

In his new interview, the "Batman" actor singled out his separation from wife Jennifer Garner as a painful mistake. "The biggest regret of my life is the divorce," he said.
Affleck cited a worsening drinking problem that intensified difficulties in his marriage to Garner. The couple separated in 2015 and finalized their divorce in 2018.
Affleck is now on the road to recovery, however. He's been in treatment for alcoholism, and is returning to regular film roles after dropping out of his "Batman" commitments last year.
