Following the release of her latest album Positions, Ariana Grande is sharing what she thinks the future may look like for her amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

Sharing that she thinks it's unrealistic to plan a tour, that doesn't mean she's not daydreaming about getting back on that stage!

Ariana Grande shares touring during COVID

Ariana Grande may have come out with her hit new album Positions last month, but that doesn't mean she thinks she'll be touring it anytime soon. While appearing on the Zach Sang Show, Grande opens up about what her future may hold while the world is still grappling with the novel Coronavirus.

While sharing her views on other celebs talking about a tour, Grande shared, "It’s not realistic. I don’t know why people are pretending that their tours are gonna happen right now."

She continued, "They’re like, 'Delaying until the summer,' and I’m like, 'Good luck.'" Grande then went on to talk of her own touring plans, saying she doesn't see it happening until at least 2022.

"I mean I don’t think people are gonna be touring until 2022. I don’t see it as a possibility and I don’t think I would feel safe," she said.

She continued, "I don’t want to put my fans in danger. I think we need to really look at this. No one knows what they’re doing and the way that this pandemic is being handled, who knows? I don’t see it on the cards."

"I just got off tour last year," she continued. "I kind of liked doing Sweetener and Thank U, Next and then touring both together so maybe, whenever the next one happens, which will not be soon, and the pandemic sorts itself out. Maybe that would be a good time to start thinking about it but I think that with the state of the world right now, it’s not safe."
