Anderson Cooper is starting the year off by becoming a dad again! To the surprise of those tuning in on Thursday, the CNN host once again announced on air that he has expanded his family with the arrival of a brand-new baby boy.
Cooper shares sweet photo of his newborn son
Cooper prefaced the big announcement by mentioning that he had "good news, which also happens to be very personal news." He showed a sweet photo of his nearly 2-year-old son Wyatt, who he called "the greatest joy of my life." Then, Cooper remarked how his son's happiness in the picture is due to the fact that "he now has a baby brother," whose name he revealed to be Sebastian!
The host shared an adorable picture of Sebastian with the world, saying that his youngest son "was 6.8 pounds at birth and he was healthy and happy." Then, he offered some humorous commentary on his typical habits. Cooper jokingly said that while his youngest son "mostly just sleeps and eats and certainly poops," Sebastian "seems like a wise and thoughtful little chap."

Cooper also revealed that he plans to co-parent Sebastian and Wyatt with his "best friend and former partner" Benjamin Maisani, sharing that his sons will adopt both last names. It's likely that the newest member of the Maisani-Cooper clan will also have playdates with Andy Cohen's son Ben, as Cooper and Cohen are good friends and want their sons to be as well!
