Unfortunately in recent times, Roker has been in and out of the hospital to receive his treatment. And more recently, Al was hospitalized after a blood clot in his leg traveled to his lungs! Talk about a health scare. Luckily, nothing major happened and Al is still fighting the good fight!
Al Roker looks to be back on TV very soon
Now that he is past this particular scare, it seems like Roker has a new lease on life. Being out of the woods, and feeling good again, he told his colleagues on the Today show this: "It’s been the hardest one yet, and you know I’ve had my share of surgeries [...] It gives you a profound sense of gratitude for this outpouring of prayers and thanks. I’m a very fortunate person."
