The world of music is in mourning over the news, no doubt. Lasse was 70 years old when he died. While he definitely lived a full life, for those closest to him, he is still gone too soon. He played guitar on 24 tracks for ABBA but lost his battle with cancer on April 7.
Lasse was responsible for some of music's most classic sounds
His family posted a short statement to Facebook to explain what happened with Lasse. "It is with indescribable sadness that we have to announce that our beloved Lasse has fallen asleep," the statement said.
