Aretha was a trendsetter
Franklin’s official cause of death was due to advance pancreatic cancer of the neuroendocrine type, which was confirmed by Franklin’s oncologist. Regardless of her reputation as a performer, Aretha Franklin’s cancer doctors say she was no diva as a patient.
