2024 was a year full of cinematic surprises, but not all of them were positive. This ranking by 'Slash Film' highlights the ten films that failed to impress despite high expectations. This is how the ranking of the worst films is made up

'Alien: Romulus' landed in tenth place. The flick didn't really convince viewers. Ninth place goes to 'Wolfs'. The film stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney. The Apple TV+ original was only shown in cinemas for one week.

Eighth place went to the horror flick 'MaXXXine'. It was not well received by the audience. 'Salem's Lot' landed in seventh place. Sixth place went to 'Joker: Folie à Deux'. Many criticized the "Joker" sequel for being more of a musical and having too much singing.

'Kinds of Kindness' is in fifth place. Emma Stone can be seen in the leading role. However, the film failed to inspire. Fourth place went to 'Blitz'.
Now for the top - or rather flop - three! 'Nightbitch' is in third place. In second place is 'Gladiator II'. The film was eagerly awaited, but many viewers were not impressed by the sequel to the first part from 2000. According to 'Slash Film', the worst film from 2024 is 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.'
